We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to support our domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring timely shipment execution, documentation accuracy, and compliance with import-export regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Import & Export Operations
- Place bookings with freight forwarders for import and export shipments as per shipment requirements and packing lists.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHA), courier companies, and transporters to ensure smooth customs clearance and on-time delivery.
- Track import and export shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor shipment compliance to avoid delays, penalties, and customs-related issues.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- E-Way Bills
- Shipping Documentation
- Customs Documentation
- Ensure accuracy of shipment details including:
- HSN Codes
- Product Descriptions
- Valuation
- Country of Origin
- Incoterms
- Verify HSN classifications and maintain documentation as per import-export compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.
Coordination & Execution
- Follow up with the Accounts team for export and domestic shipment tax invoices.
- Coordinate with the packaging team to ensure material readiness and dispatch planning.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution and issue resolution.
Reporting & Record Management
- Maintain shipment records, invoices, shipping documents, Proof of Delivery (PODs), and logistics MIS.
- Prepare logistics reports and maintain shipment trackers.
- Ensure accurate filing and document management for future reference and compliance audits.
Requirements
Must Have
- Knowledge of Import and Export procedures
- Understanding of shipping and logistics documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively
Good to Have
- Exposure to international shipments and export operations from India
- Familiarity with air and sea freight processes
- Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, robotics, or industrial environment
- Basic understanding of customs clearance processes and Incoterms
Eligible Candidates
Desired Qualification
- Diploma in Export Import Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Any Graduation
Work Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Logistics, Import-Export Operations, Shipping Documentation, or Supply Chain Coordination
