ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology. You will be embedded within an active project environment, supporting cross-functional teams, driving delivery discipline, and developing the foundational skills required to lead complex programs.
Grounded in PMI, Agile, and hybrid delivery frameworks, this role is designed to build future-ready project leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
  • Coordinate and facilitate in-depth project reviews; follow up on action items from meetings and workshops to ensure end-to-end project execution.
  • Support the Project Manager in maintaining a healthy project pipeline by tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
  • Assist in building and maintaining project charters, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and RACI matrices.

Meetings, Workshops & Communication
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and workshops with structured agendas; capture accurate meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.
  • Prepare stakeholder-ready status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries on weekly and monthly cadences.
  • Draft clear project communications, including announcements, risk alerts, and change notifications, tailored to different audience levels.

Tracking, Reporting & Data
  • Track business and technical deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID log management).
  • Keep project plans, schedules, and trackers up to date in real time using Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent PM tools.
  • Build simple dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Smartsheet to surface project health metrics.
  • Support post-project retrospectives and capture lessons learned to feed into continuous improvement cycles.

Agile & Process Improvement
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to process mapping and optimization initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing workflow improvements.
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder impact assessments and training coordination.

AI, Digital & Innovation
  • Explore and apply AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Notion AI) to automate repetitive project management tasks.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by documenting current-state processes and helping design future-state workflows.
  • Contribute ideas to improve team productivity through emerging technologies and best practices from the PM community.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Background
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering (Mechanical or a related field).
  • Knowledge of project management, supply chain management, or operations; both academic and professional experience are valued.
  • Exposure to PM frameworks such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications is a plus (not mandatory).

Tools & Technology: Nice to Have
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with project management tools:
  • Smartsheet (project tracking, dashboards, automations)
  • Jira (Agile boards, backlog management, issue tracking)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint storytelling, Word)
  • Exposure to any of the following is a bonus:
  • Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Confluence
    • Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
    • AI tools such as Copilot, Notion AI, or ChatGPT for productivity
