Technical Support Intern

The Technical Support Intern will support the customer performance monitoring and remote technical assistance function for deployed robotics systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world robotics operations, system diagnostics, and data-driven troubleshooting.

The intern will work closely with the technical support and engineering teams to monitor system health, gather logs, track service tickets, and support spare part tracking across customer sites.

Monitor customer system performance metrics and gather operational data

Provide remote technical support including log collection and preliminary troubleshooting

Handle and update tickets through the Service Portal

Maintain structured logs of support activities and issue tracking

Track and monitor spare part usage and inventory data

Assist in preparing performance reports and data summaries

Escalate technical issues to engineering teams when required

Support documentation of recurring issues and solutions

Strong analytical thinking

Ability to track, interpret, and report data

Structured problem-solving approach

Basic understanding of Linux environment

Basic exposure to:

Clear verbal and written communication

Ability to interact professionally with internal teams

Willingness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment

Basic knowledge of Python

Basic knowledge of SQL

Prior internship or academic project in robotics, automation, or embedded systems

Familiarity with data logging or troubleshooting workflows

Pursuing or recently completed BE / BTech (Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Robotics / Computer Science)

Strong interest in robotics systems and field support
