About the Role
As a Validation Engineer – L2, you will be responsible for executing system-level and module-level validation of our robotic platforms before deployment. You will work closely with development, integration, and field teams to test software, firmware, and hardware interactions under real-world conditions.
This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting ability, structured test execution, and comfort working directly with robotic hardware in lab and warehouse environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Execute validation plans for robotic systems, subsystems, and modules
Perform functional, integration, regression, and field validation testing
Test interactions between software, firmware, sensors, and mechanical systems
Collect logs, analyze system behavior, and assist in root cause analysis
Document test cases, validation results, and issue reports clearly
Support fault simulation and controlled failure testing
Work with engineering teams to reproduce and verify bug fixes
Participate in CI/CD-based validation workflows
Assist in maintaining and improving existing test setups and tools
Travel to customer sites, if required, for deployment validation support.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in robotics validation, system testing, or embedded systems testing
Hands-on exposure to robotic platforms, AGVs, motion control systems, or material handling systems
Working knowledge of ROS
Basic programming skills in Python and/or C/C++
Familiarity with Linux environments
Experience using Git and issue tracking tools like JIRA
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good documentation and reporting capability.
Good to Have:
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Experience with warehouse automation systems
Understanding of basic safety validation practices
Prior experience supporting field deployments.
