Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials
- Ensure proper storage and organization to maximize space utilization and accessibility
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking and ensure timely availability of materials
- Implement and follow inventory control procedures and systems
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy
- Maintain proper documentation and handle the disposal of scrap materials as per company policy
2. Material Handling & Logistics
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials in a timely and safe manner
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in material handling and storage
3. Staff Management
- Supervise and guide store personnel, ensuring efficient performance and adherence to duties
- Conduct training sessions to improve staff competence
- Manage team schedules, monitor performance, and conduct evaluations
- Address and resolve any staff-related issues promptly
4. Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions and stock movements
- Prepare and submit regular reports such as Inventory Aging, Inventory Trends, Inward and Dispatch Reports
- Provide insights and updates to upper management regarding inventory status and operational challenges
Requirements:
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory and material flow.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure the integrity of inventory data.
- Understanding of the materials and processes used in the manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
Good to Have:
Experience with SAP B1 or any other ERP system for inventory and materials management
Eligible Candidates:
- Desired Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
- Work Experience: 3-5 years
